Description
Please note – as many medicinal herb seeds require extra care to germinate, a germination test isn’t as simple as with vegetable seeds. You will need to look up the average days to germination (DTG) and base your test for each seed on their specific number of days. They also may require stratification (a period of cold) or scarification (scuffing with sandpaper or nicking). If you try to germinate these seeds by placing them on paper towel, your test won’t be accurate, as you will not have mimicked mother nature’s work.
