We are calling in a herb
farm tender!

THE FARM

Awaken Herbs is a small ecological specialty herb farm 45 minutes northeast of Winnipeg. We lovingly tend roughly 1/3 acre of gardens, plus a medicinal orchard planting and a small greenhouse. The herbs we grow are sold locally and across Canada, both fresh and dried. We are passionate about growing vibrant, potent medicinal herbs for our community and create a space for connection and community – with the land, the plants, and each other.

Our passion is crafting mindful moments with locally sourced, organic, and sustainable products. We’re more than a store; we’re your path to a community-driven, eco-friendly lifestyle that embraces premium quality.

THE JOB

Job tasks include (but are not limited to):

Field work: harvesting, weeding, field and bed preparation, soil amending, root division & transplanting – this will be a weeding-heavy position!

Systems management: washing bins and tools, garden clean-up & winterizing, keeping detailed records, maintaining clean and organized work spaces.

Processing: processing herbs for drying (washing, sorting, racking), processing dried herbs (garbling, storing, and possibly packaging for shipment or sales).
